About the Role

Location: Pasir Panjang Road, Singapore
Department: Revenue Growth Management & Analytics
Reports to: Head of Revenue Growth Management, Analytics & Demand Planning, SG

What You'll Do

As a Demand Planning S&OP Manager, you are responsible for leading the long-term demand planning horizon (12 months), ensuring Rolling Estimates (RE) and Business Planning (BP) are accurate, aligned, and actionable. In this role, you ensure strategic forecast alignment between Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain, balancing demand and capacity to support profitable growth.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Validate and generate unconstrained long-term demand forecasts (volume, value, assumptions) at SKU and aggregate levels.
  • Lead monthly demand reviews with regions; present long-term forecasts, risks, and assumptions.
  • Identify volume gaps vs BP/RE targets and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with Commercial and Finance.
  • Incorporate NPD launches and product discontinuations into the 12-month plan; monitor 1st 3 months post-launch performance.
  • Analyze and report monthly forecast accuracy and bias; lead initiatives to improve accuracy.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to align capacity plans with demand outlook.
  • Maintain a clean, accurate long-term demand database and documentation for BP/RE cycles.
  • Provide demand inputs into strategic projects, category management, and investment decisions.
Job Requirement
What You Bring
  • University Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Ideally 5 to 7 years’ experience in FMCG demand planning, preferably with S&OP leadership.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in SAP, BI tools, and forecasting models.
  • Blue Yonder knowledge is preferred.

  • Communicate demand scenarios and risks to senior leadership for decision-making.

  • Root cause analysis of forecast deviations.
  • Scenario modeling to assess market, pricing, and NPD impacts on long-term demand.
  • Forecast variance analysis vs BP and RE.
3. Judgment & Decision Making
  • Final authority on forecast submission for RE and BP cycles.
  • Recommender on strategic demand shifts and portfolio prioritization.
4. Innovation
  • Enhance S&OP processes to improve forecast accuracy and decision lead time.
  • Introduce demand segmentation and advanced modeling techniques.
